The 500-year history of home working
© Caroline Dethier

Did home-based work begin with the COVID-19 pandemic ? No !
Many questions need to be asked about working at home. As part of our exhibition "Home Made. Produce, Create, Live" exhibition, we invite you to attend a conference entitled "From the workbench to the office, a homeworking itinerary", on Friday December 8 (7.30pm).

To guide you through the evening, Nicolas Verschueren, Professor of History at ULB-Université libre de Bruxelles, will outline the history of home-based work from the 16th to the 21st centuries: from craftsman to farmer, from weaver to lawyer, discover five centuries of home-based trades.
