Using the concept of innovation as a common thread, "From archives to design" brings together two sources of technical, industrial, human and social progress that are unique to Grand-Hornu: its design collection (20th-21st centuries) and its Léon Plaetens archives (18th-20th centuries). It's a unique opportunity to explore the history of the site, from its mining past to its role as a showcase for innovative designs.

The preview is scheduled for Saturday 1 July, from 6pm. Younger visitors can enjoy the exhibition from 5pm at the children's opening.
