Recognised as World Heritage by UNESCO 10 years ago, the four major mining sites in Wallonia (Grand-Hornu, Bois-du-Luc, Bois du Cazier and Blegny-Mine) together represent all the diversity and richness of Wallonia's mining heritage to create a unique heritage for UNESCO. One of the missions is to transmit this heritage to future generations.

In this context, a seminar is planned for 18 and 19 November 2022, in Grand-Hornu. It will examine the efforts made by various post-industrial sites to activate, develop and upgrade this industrial memory and culture, particularly mining culture. All the info here.
