Stage

What if memories could be touched, listened to, smelled and told?
We are offering children aged 5 to 8 a creative and sensory workshop exploring traces, memories and the living world that has vanished: forgotten animals, ancient plants, transformed landscapes.
Through a multi-sensory approach, the children will explore the world using their five senses: observing, listening, touching, smelling, imagining… An invitation to slow down, to be mindful of our surroundings and of what existed before us.
One of the highlights of the course will be a day’s nature walk with Davide, a passionate nature guide, who will take the children on a journey of discovery to uncover the hidden treasures of the Grand-Hornu gardens and the neighbouring slag heap No. 9.
A course to create, dream and explore together, and to keep the memory of life alive within us.
