As part of the ‘Rencontre(s)’ exhibition, the CID invites you to take its Art Shuttle to TAMAT (Musée de la Tapisserie et des Arts Textiles de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles), in Tournai, to discover the temporary exhibition ‘R24’.
For forty years, TAMAT has been supporting artists from all over the world with its Recherches grant and welcoming them to its studios.
In January 2024, four artists - Lauriane Belin, João Freitas, Marius Martinot and Maria José Murillo - took up residence in the studios for a period of one year.
Each year, the results of the residents' artistic research are shown to the public with the exhibition and are published in a catalogue: Carnets de recherches.
