Lecture

A post-carbon transition, from a massive dependence on fossil resources to the use of "low transformation" material resources (geosourced, biosourced, reused...), requires designers to make themselves "available" to the material. This attitude defines new practices based on the transmission of knowledge related to these materials. This sharing of experiences, both concrete and aesthetic, learned and empirical, questions the limits of the roles of designers, producers and users.

Speakers: Victoria Foster Caubet (BC Materials), Corentin Dalon, Florian Mahieu et Charles Palliez (Bento architecture), Nicolas Atlé et David Bayle (UMons - département de Génie Architectural et Urbain).
